I advocate for educational equity for ALL students via the board’s effective governance model. Together, after unanimous vote of support from a task force comprised of community stakeholders, the board acted to approve the resolution for a $55.7 million referendum election for District-wide school facilities improvement for safety, security, site and ADA improvements and renovations, school additions and furnishings, fixtures and equipment (https://go.boarddocs.com/wi/mtsd/Board.nsf/Public#) that our supportive community approved by a 58% yes to 42% no vote.
I AM ADAMANT POLITICS MUST STAY OUT OF OUR SCHOOLS, POLITICAL AGENDAS AND THE INFLUENCE OF NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS MUST NOT HIJACK OUR NON-PARTISAN SCHOOL BOARD.
